Fresh Start Monday: a truffle and a tiger

I love change.  (I’m pretty sure that’s not a secret.)  I love the newness of a fresh start, which why I freakin’ love Mondays.  We get to choose how we’ll be all over again, and set the tone for the week.  How great is that?  For maximum enjoyment of the aforementioned opportunity, let’s talk about how this week might go…

This week, some changes might occur.

Change gets a bad rap – it’s scary, uncomfortable, inconvenient, etc.  It’s also inevitable, and can bring about amazing things if we meet it head-on or even make it happen ourselves.  Change can taste like a Meyer lemon-chocolate truffle – dark, and it could be almost bitter if it wasn’t so delicate and clean. There’s a lot going in it, old cocoa, new lemon.  Like this truffle, change is the stuff of life.  It makes my jaw hurt the taste is so perfect.  (If you haven’t had this experience, for God’s sake email me so I can send you one of these things.  Fabeku, you know of what I speak, yes?)

With Change, the forces of flavor might almost fight -  (radio announcer voice) Will the bitter lemon win? Will the dark cocoa overpower everything?  But at the last second they give in and work together, building the perfect experience.  So uh, yeah.  Change can taste really good, if you let all the flavors work together.  So if when Change occurs this week, don’t try to control it.  Just be present for it.  It’s a LOT less work, scout’s honor.

No changes happening?  Hm.  How about making some happen?  You are the party, after all.

An invocation to help:  calling on our be-in-the-moment mojo

Let’s suspend expectation.  Let’s invite change in delicious bites.  Let’s wink at The Past and then leave it out of this precious new week.

Let’s hush Criticism with an ear scratch when it starts its low rumble.  Stop pacing in our art studios, offices, and temples, dear Criticism – go out and soak up the sun ’til your fur shines.  We have work to do. Real work making changes – the kind where you stop playing small, and start contributing your gifts.

9 spots left in the new Breakthrough and Play a  Bigger Game package.  Get 3 sessions of one-on-one time and 3 group calls with me for $297.  Aren’t you just dying to be as big as you know you can be?

36 hours left to get single sessions at $97 each – more than 50% of my new session prices.

Go on, now.  Shoo.  Do great work.

xoxo,

Sinclair

I must needs discover these truffles. Soon. Very soon.

As one who bemoans the coming of each Monday (primarily due to where I must go that morning), I thank you for this.

    Change perspective; change life.
