Studio Scholarships Announced!

I’ll post the winning entries below this video in a bit, but I want to make sure you watch it first. ;)

In it, I give a lil’ behind the scenes look at our launch conversation leading up to the Studio, so that you can make more informed choices about how to build your next conversations in your own businesses.

Please congratulate the winners and all of the entries below - there’s so much creativity here, I’d be proud to have each and every one of you in the Studio and know you’d build incredible things in there.

To see the 620 comments at entries for the scholarship, check out the Gossip From the Set.

To grab one of the last couple of spots in the Studio, go here.

Thank you so, so much –

I had to record this video three times to stay professional and not get all teary at the level of response to the Studio, to the scholarship, and just the way you’ve shown up and shared what you’re all about in the last couple of weeks. There’s a ton of creativity and vision right here in our community, I can’t wait to see where you go next. And I’m proud like-whoa that you and I get to have this productive conversation, and move your business forward together.

Big love,

Sinclair

Bridget Pilloud

The scene opens as a rubenesque woman lounges on a white bed.

“Oh, hi there.” She says in the camera. “I’m glad you’re here because I’m super super sexy. And I want to tell you about my very hot product. Yes, it a salad shooter, but it is the sexiest salad shooter around. You want some of this salad shooting action!”
Woman proceeds to cut and shoot carrots, jicama and other phallic shaped vegetables across the room.

For some reason, the only people who bought the salad shooter were angry housewives, not who she expected at all.

Bridget wakes from this bad dream, this bad confusing dream.

She remembers what it was like when she walked around like her own bardic tale: the explorer, the sage, the jester, the lover, each butting in with their needs, their desire to be heard. She remembers the anxiety of having to remember which archetype each person responded to, the frustration of being the jester when people needed the lover. A life disjointed.

And that terrible feeling of overwhelm, the desire to never disappoint.

And now, a life integrated. All products point due north. Everything is attracting her type of people, people who love to be free, people who are ready for transformational experiences, curious people, open people, fun and funny and loving and bright.

Those two products, the ones that sat on the shelf for 6 months ready to go, they found their people and sparked a movement of internal discovery and exterior power.

No more work unsticking the stuck and cajoling the complacent.

Lots of discovery.

And lots of sparks firing as real change happens.

And friends made from the studio, who excel as well.

Oh My, SO EXCITING! Dying over the delish of what’s up here so far. WE women are changing the world by integrating it aren’t we?? It’s about time.

Well, here goes…my video (one of my first eva!!) not so Hollywood, but hopefully as earnest as I’m feeling it.

With LOVE – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3qgNckT0Sg

XO,

Entry #2

I see light-filled, art-filled spaces with windows yawning onto dense city life. Density creates vitality and I feel tall and know what I have built with my own moxie and ambition is what supports and uplifts me and my family and those who’s lives I get the honor of being a part of. The thousands of lives I love.

I bring my radiant space with me wherever I go. It’s around and inside me. It’s effervescent and it spills out all over you.

You get the idea. Brilliant women unite.

What we’re doing here, with this world, with this flailing human race is magnanimous, revolutionary. It’s within our reach and it’s real.

It’s healing vast wounds and what is sprouting out of the New is cyclical and integrated and Godess-shaped.

Breathe.

It’s our world now.

And I’m holding my own, Baby. If I can do it anyone can.

Come in. I’ll show you how to do it too.

I hit bottom hard once. Ay yi yi, I’ve hit it hard a few times. I spent a lot of years trying to die and as a result…I really know how to live. I’ve got impetus running through my veins.

I’ve started my business to spread this luminosity around. I have ideas. (And IDEAS!) I have irons in the fire and am all systems a-GO-GO.

I am a Creator. I am an Alchemist. I am a die-hard Explorer.

The possibility that I can, for the first time ever, earn a real income, a supportive income, and do it rocking the very things about me that make me ME, the things that I share on auto and bring to the table….well that’s just a miracle.

A miracle that I’m living. A miracle I’m expanding even further into. A miracle that me and my son both deserve to see manifest.

I see light-filled, art-filled spaces with windows yawning on dense city life. I see myself ushering in a better world. I see myself loving in a way that continues to evolve and revolve and melt into a softer, flowing satisfaction.

I am you are me.

Congratulations to the winners & most importantly, thank you Sinclair for being such a generous person! One of my personal favorites was Ije’s entry – I loved the river metaphor. I also loved Illana for sheer badassery. EVERYONE who entered is a badass, in fact, just because they were so heartfelt and I know it’s hard to be that way in public. Hugs to all the entrants and the wonderful supporters, too!
